About Us
About M6 Metals
Welcome. If you're here, chances are you already know there's something special about holding a piece of hand-poured silver — the weight of it, the warmth, the fact that no two pieces are ever exactly alike. That's what drew us in, and it's what keeps us at the bench.
The Story Behind the Name
M6 Metals stands for the Montez Family Six — a nod to the family that grounds everything we do. Based out of Los Angeles, we are silver artist and precious metals enthusiast who turned a deep passion for the craft into something we are proud to share with collectors around the world.
The Craft
Every piece we make is handcrafted in our Los Angeles studio. We work primarily with hand-pouring, sand-casting, metal pressing & striking techniques — methods that have been used for centuries and that still produce results. The process is hands-on from start to finish: melting, pouring, finishing, and inspecting each piece personally before it ever leaves the studio.
Our designs draw from themes we find endlessly compelling — pirate treasure, religious iconography, Native American heritage, and the timeless symbolism that precious metals have carried across cultures for thousands of years. Each piece is meant to feel like it has a story, because it does.
The Community
Silver art collecting is a hobby we believe deserves a bigger audience. There's a whole world of hand-poured silver out there — rounds, bars, sculptures — made by artists who genuinely care about what they're creating. Part of our mission with M6 Metals is to help grow that community, connect with fellow collectors, and put more beautiful, meaningful silver into the hands of people who appreciate it.
Whether you're a longtime stacker, a new collector, or just someone who stumbled across a piece that caught your eye — you're welcome here.
