A design we finished late last year and had digitally sculpted for production this year.
The inspiration for this was based on the medieval alchemy beliefs that wizards had the ability to turn base metals into gold. The art itself held in secrecy was also believed to serve as a medical intervention. The Emerald Tablet was the sacred book that held the beliefs and secrets to its power, "As Above, So Below". Air, Earth, Fire, and Water are key elements of this science/magic. Silver represented by the moon and gold represented by the sun are significant signs. It was practiced by many known scientists including English Scientist Isaac Newton. Though this may be entirely a myth it is still fun to believe that Wizards had the ability to magically turn something into gold.
