Battle Los Angeles 1oz .999 Fine Silver round is based on actual events that took place in Los Angeles during the early morning of 1942. Events that have many theories, but have not been explained to this day.
We designed the artwork in-house based on news articles that documented the event, then sent over the digital renderings to our friends over at Intaglio Mint for the final striking of each round. Upon receiving the rounds we gently finished them with our style of colorized toning. We really enjoyed bringing a piece of L.A. history to life on a silver round.
