In 1964, archeologists unearthed a massive stone at the base of the Teotihuacan Pyramid ( pyramid of the Sun ) The stone, a grinning skull wreathed in a faceted halo is believed by many scholars to represent Mictlāntēcutli, the Aztec god of the underworld. The stone later named and formally known at the Disk of Death. The stone slate, a grinning skull with sightless eyes and long protruding tong, surrounded by an elaborate halo.
A steel die was made using in-house altered artwork. Then .999 1 ozt fine silver was liquified and poured to shape. After cleaning the poured silver to our liking we then pressed them with the home made laser engraved steel die. Finally giving them that toned antique finish.
